This is a shocking and dangerous development: 1. Saudi-born Alghabra used to run the Canadian Arab Federation, an explicitly anti-Semitic organization; 2. Alghabra publicly declared that Hamas and Hezbollah were not terrorist groups, and should not be criminalized; 3. He opposed Canada’s no-fly list. And, curiously, American agents once refused to let him board a plane to the U.S. 4. Alghabra has repeatedly condemned Israel as a “brutal” country, has lobbied Canadian political leaders to boycott Israel, and has even tried to foment the boycott of pro-Israel events in Canada. |
